Teamwork Lessons We Learnt in Kyari 2026

Back to wall

Outdoor challenges provide opportunities to learn important life skills beyond the classroom. During our educational journey, our team, Flying Fox, participated in various activities that required cooperation, communication, and trust. These experiences helped us understand the value of teamwork.

Our journey began when we gathered at school at 10:30 pm and boarded the bus at 11:00 pm. After three stops along the way, we reached the resort at around 9:30 am. After breakfast, we attended an orientation session where we learnt about the journey and formed teams. Our team, Flying Fox, had six members. The first activity, Fireless Cooking, encouraged us to share ideas and divide responsibilities. By working together, we successfully completed the task and developed an understanding of coordination.

The second day started early with a hike for the Nature Mandala activity. Surrounded by nature, our creativity was at its peak, as the beautiful landscape refreshed our minds. On the third day, we went trekking in the morning. The experience required determination and mutual support. Through activities such as Fireless Cooking, Nature Mandala Art, and other adventure activities, our team members learnt the importance of cooperation, communication, trust, and leadership. Every challenge encouraged teamwork and improved our problem-solving abilities.

Throughout the trip, we not only discovered the beauty of nature but also discovered our own strengths and abilities. Working together helped us build stronger friendships and taught us the value of supporting one another. The memories from this educational journey shall be cherished forever, and the lessons learnt shall guide us in our future challenges.
