Survival Skills and Character Building in the Wilderness 2025

The life-changing discovery of Chirgaon village, nestled in mother nature’s lap and surrounded by serenity, led to extraordinary transformations in our routine and perspective. Here, we had a wonderful camping experience in the wilderness which helped us learn and evolve.

Let us take you to the first instance when we stepped out of our comfort zones and experienced nature from a whole new perspective. It happened when we took our first break on the onward journey, near Solan. It was here that we truly realised the importance of being kind and generous to mother nature, regardless of what others do. As the saying goes, “Be the change you wish to see.” It was exciting to be surrounded by beautiful nature and start our self-discovery.

This journey proved to be engaging, informative, and transformative. The adventurous landscapes and the guidance of our journey mentors encouraged us to think in ways we never had before. We learnt various survival and safety skills. Activities like bridge obstacles, ziplining, and crosswalks were physically challenging and motivating. It also helped us think critically and understand the deeper lessons of history and nature.

The EdTerra camp experience, along with the wonderful journey mentors, made the trip truly unforgettable. We advise and encourage teenagers to visit this camp, keep it clean, and develop a sense of responsibility towards nature. We found peace and calm at this beautiful lakeside. The entire adventure experience reshaped the way we view nature, inspiring us to think beyond our imagination.
