Today, tigers roam proudly in the lush green forests of Jim Corbett National Park. There are currently over 250 tigers in the national park who lurk around in wait for their prey, which includes animals like spotted deer, sambar deers and wild boars. But how did the story of Jim Corbett National Park and its tigers begin?

Jim Corbett, Asia’s first national Park is located in Uttranchal. The park is renowned for its extensive flora and fauna including species such as Royal Bengal Tiger, leopard cats, rhesus monkey, sal, spear grass and pine trees. Moreover, there are about 600 species & subspecies of birds like pheasants, hornbills and larks. On our visit to these peaceful locations, we were left impressed by how much we got to learn through documentaries and the wildlife safari. Our mentors at Edterra made it a worthwhile journey through innovative games and activities. The anecdotes shared by the guides made the safari interesting and inclusive. If you are an explorer like us, this safari is meant for you. It tests your observation skills.

Pro tip: Don’t forget to bring your camera along to capture exotic beauty of the colourful flowers and magnificent animals. The eyes of the animals have their own stories to tell.
