What Wikipedia Can’t Tell You About Bangalore 2023

Back to wall

Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, stands as a thriving hub for innovation. What sets this city apart is its emphasis on nature, evident in the numerous green parks it hosts. In this blog, we will delve into the significance of nature within the city, with a special focus on Lal Bagh Gardens.

Nature and innovation are often perceived as two distinct elements. What if we tell you that these two elements can harmoniously coexist and greatly impact the world?

We visited the Lal Bagh Gardens in Bangalore, which hosts a remarkable collection of trees and flowers, some of which are over a century old. We observed how creatively different elements of nature are put to use here. To preserve these venerable giants, fallen trees are ingeniously repurposed into statues. Even climbers, typically perceived as potential nuisances, are transformed into picturesque arches, adding to the garden’s aesthetic charm. It is a testament to the thoughtful and sustainable approach to utilising every aspect of nature without wastage.

In Bangalore, we witnessed a harmonious fusion of innovation and nature, where the city adopts a holistic approach to creatively utilise every element of its natural surroundings. It stands as a model for the world, illustrating how to seamlessly incorporate various facets of nature into urban spaces.

The world must learn lessons from Lal Bagh Gardens on innovative coexistence with nature. By highlighting this, we hope to inspire a global shift towards making nature an integral part of innovation and vice versa. Through small initiatives like these, we envision a future where the bond between nature and innovation is recognised and celebrated worldwide.
