During this educational adventure, we participated in exciting activities, developed survival skills, and created unforgettable memories. We had a lot of fun with our friends and with the Edterra team (Vivaan Sir, Madhurima ma’am, and Alisha ma’am). We began our journey at 9 pm and travelled overnight to Chail. Once we arrived at our resort, we received a warm welcome from the staff and enjoyed a delicious breakfast before beginning our adventure-filled day.

Divided into groups, we began with a non-verbal communication activity that taught us the importance of observation, teamwork, and understanding each other without words. Later, we set out on a trek through the beautiful hills. Along the way, we participated in a mini Swachh Bharat initiative by collecting plastic waste and helping keep the environment clean. We also created Nature Mandala Art using natural materials such as pinecones, leaves, and twigs, learning the valuable lesson of appreciating and letting go through nature.

As we made our way back from the trek, we realised the value of teamwork, patience, perseverance, and supporting one another. One of the most exciting experiences was learning the Tyrolean Traverse, a rope-crossing technique used to move safely across valleys and difficult terrain. We also participated in challenging hill activities that encouraged us to overcome our fear of heights while developing focus and balance. The EdTerra team organised engaging exercises centred on leadership, communication, teamwork, and self-awareness. Unlike the people who we see taking nature for granted, we connected with it and experienced the tenderness that nature holds. Spending our nights under the clear, pollution-free skies filled with countless stars was a magical experience. Refreshed by the mountains and enriched by new experiences, we returned home with renewed energy, valuable life lessons, and memories that will stay with us forever.
