How Nainital Promotes Tourism 2023
The popular hill station, Nainital has numerous tourist spots including the Naini lake, Mall Road, Tibetan market, and many other local markets. Nainital, also referred to as the “Lake District,” is tucked away high in the Kumaon Himalayas at a height of about 2,000 metres above sea level.
Our visit to Nainital was an experience that was calming from a hectic school life. The place soothes you from within and reconnects you with nature and hills. We cannot have such an experience in our urban life. Seven hills namely Ayarpata, Deopata, Handi-Bandi, Naina, Alma, Lariya-Kanta, and Sher-Ka-Danda surround Nainital. These hills are together known as “Sapta-Shring.”
Our visit to Nainital was an adventure that we cannot forget and we bet that all the other students travelling with us think the same. We think that we can say on behalf of everyone that this journey was more peaceful than the hectic life. The local people were as sweet as honey and the shawls they wore were beautifully handwoven. We explored the whole place and bought local stuff. The boating in Naini lake is soothing and calming. In my opinion, the most fun experience in Nainital was boating and shopping in the market. To sum up, it was an alluring as well as amusing experience.
In conclusion, Nainital was as pretty as a picture. The weather was chilling and charming. This was our first school trip and it was more exciting than we expected.
