Ranthambore: A Safari Into Nature’s Wonders 2026

Back to wall

On our safari at Ranthambore National Park, we had the opportunity to broaden our horizons and enrich our young lives. Located in the Sawai Madhopur district, southeastern Rajasthan, the park sits at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya mountain ranges. It features steep hills, valleys, and dry deciduous forests. This wonderful trip really helped us learn about Mother Nature’s wildlife in this wondrous sanctuary.

Upon starting our journey, we breathed in nature’s refreshing air from our open canters. The moment we entered the zone, we were filled with the awesome sight of joyful and lively deer running around the trees. The first batch of deer we saw were the spotted ones with magnificent markings on their coats. We were hoping to see the central attraction of the jungle, the tigers.

Our group’s guide was extremely professional, friendly, and key to our wonderful experience. As we were driving through the jungle, we spotted many majestic birds like the bright white-throated kingfisher. We also observed nocturnal creatures like an owl. On our way back to the exit, our eyes caught the sight of a small crocodile sunbathing near the river. We learnt that crocodiles are cold-blooded creatures and bask in the sun to regulate their body temperature.

Just as we were losing hope of seeing a tiger, we finally saw one! The famous tigress, Noor, was sitting peacefully in the distance but visible. We went back to the hotel feeling victorious after having a perfectly satisfactory experience, having spotted the magnificent animal we had longed to see all day.
