Trip to Mukteshwar 2026

Back to wall

On the night of May 26, 2026, we began our school excursion to Mukteshwar. All of us travelled overnight in an AC bus towards Mukteshwar. On May 27, 2026, we reached our destination in the morning. After resting for a while, we started our activities, which were guided by our mentors and instructors. Our first activity was hiking, for which we were divided into teams. We also participated in a Nature Mandala competition. For this, we made mandalas with the help of natural materials like pine cones, dead leaves, small rocks, stones, and flowers. In the evening, we participated in another challenge called fireless cooking, where all the teams competed against one another. It was a fun-filled experience for all of us.

Later in the evening, there was a DJ night planned for us, which was again a lot of fun. On Day 2, after breakfast, we played many adventure games like Puzzle Maze, Zipline, Rock Climbing, Burma Bridge, and Bull’s Eye. After all the activities were over, we enjoyed the sunset view with snacks and tea. Lastly, we geared up for our final activities of the day, which were writing a blog and recording a podcast. Through these media projects, we showcased our creativity and learnt the importance of teamwork and honesty.

This journey taught us many things that we never expected, such as teamwork, stepping out of our comfort zones, sharing ideas, appreciating the beauty of nature, and cooking in the wild without fire. We also learnt how to be more creative. Most importantly, this journey showed us that life can be beautiful even without mobile phones and other technologies.
