Charminar: The Architectural Marvel of Hyderabad 2025

One of those stories says that over four hundred years ago, when a plague threatened an entire city, it was built in 1591 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah to celebrate the formation of a new city and a new life.

The Charminar, which translates to “Four Minarets” in Urdu, is an iconic symbol of Hyderabad’s rich history and architectural brilliance. This 48-metre-tall structure is not just a tower but a masterpiece of Islamic design, blending Persian, Arabic, and Indian influences.
