Exploring the Great Outdoors at Chanshal Valley 2025

My classmates and I recently visited Chanshal Valley on a school trip. Initially, many of us joined simply to enjoy the company of our friends, but the experience turned out to be truly extraordinary. Whether it was stream walking or the trek to Pandiyar, this journey will remain as one of the most memorable.

The adventure began even before we reached Chanshal. Our bus ride was lively, with a DJ on board and plenty of dancing along the way. We stopped at Shiv Dhaba, where the food was absolutely delicious – finger-licking good, in fact. The bus was comfortable, making for a smooth and enjoyable overnight journey. Upon arrival, we settled into our cosy rooms and had lunch. Afterwards, we split into teams and headed to the activity of HRC – High Rope Course. There, we learned to ride a bicycle on a suspended rope, one of the many thrilling challenges available.

Later, we went stream walking, which turned out to be a truly special experience. The water was freezing at first, but we quickly adapted – and the stunning scenery made it all worthwhile. It reminded us of our childhood days. We also trekked to the Pandiyar Temple. The trail was narrow and the weather was windy, just like a dramatic scene from an old Bollywood film.

This was undoubtedly one of the best trips we’ve ever had. It cleared our minds, reconnected us with nature, and brought a deep sense of peace. I truly hope to return one day. Next time, to trek even farther and stay longer to have more beautiful experiences.
