Discovering the Magic of Bali 2025
The Bali experience was jam packed with various daily activities. Our initial days in Bali consisted of visiting the Ubud Monkey Forest and the Tanah Lot Temple. We also got to enjoy the Bali Safari and witness the Kecak dance. The next day was spent exploring the Chocolate Factory and the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. Our guide was very knowledgeable. During each bus ride, he would give us a brief history of the location that we were heading to.
The Ubud Monkey Forest was an eye opening experience for us. Getting to be up close and personal with the monkeys without any fences, barriers, or security guards made this a unique experience. We observed monkeys moving around in their habitat freely. The visit to the Tanah Lot Temple was unique, as it was a partially submerged temple. The temple was at a very beautiful location, with a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately, the visit was cut short by a sudden rainfall.
The Bali Safari was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. We got to see various species of animals such as tigers, orangutans, and cassowaries. We also felt that the Kecak dance was very unique, as it is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. Our next stop was the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, which was located on the shores of Lake Beratan. It was a very beautiful and serene location with mountains surrounding the temple.
On the fifth day, we had to leave, although all of us wanted to stay. We embarked on our journey back home, reminiscing about our trip on the flight until we reached India safely.
