Our Memorable Journey to Ranthambore 2024

Back to wall

Our adventure in Ranthambore began with an exhilarating safari through the dense jungle, where we were fortunate to encounter a variety of wildlife. We spotted tigers, deer, and peacocks. Beyond the safari, we engaged with the local NGO, Dastkar, where we explored the art of block printing. We had a fantastic time creating our own designs and even brought home some unique souvenirs. This hands-on experience connected us to the local culture and crafts.

Throughout our trip, we also learnt about the importance of keeping our jungles clean. We participated in a cleanliness drive, where we not only collected litter but also received badges as a reward for our efforts. This initiative gave us a sense of responsibility towards the environment and its preservation.

We delved into the rich history of Ranthambore, discovering the grandeur of the Ranthambore Fort and the lifestyle of the kings who once resided there. We also learnt that the fort was a crucial defence point during various battles, including the notable conflicts led by Akbar in the late 16th century. As our journey drew to a close, we reflected on all the things we had learnt and experienced. This trip not only educated us but also provided a much-needed escape into the wild.
