Encountering wildlife is scary, for both children and grown-ups. So, to seize the curiosity and enthusiasm to explore, let this blog give you a brief about the wonder this experience holds.
Once known as Hailey National Park, Jim Corbett is one of the most exciting experiences nature has to offer. This mind-blowing national park was established in 1936 during the British Raj and is located in the Ramnagar district of Uttarakhand. After visiting this place, we understood that a safe exploration for children and adults can turn into an educational experience. This experience is amazing because of the hard work done to preserve the animals. This park has a variety of animals. We also learnt about a book named Man-Eaters of Kumaon. This book was written by Jim Corbett, after whom the park has been named. Some animals in Jim Corbett are pangolins and tigers. Also, there are some birds like parakeets and peacocks and many itsy-bitsy insects. As this park was under the British Raj, it was called Hailey National Park in the past. It was named after William Malcolm Hailey, the governor of the United Provinces. Today, in this park, you can not only spot animals but experience the exclusive flora. Not only this, but it provides the students with an informative learning experience. In our experience, what amazed us the most was that out of hundreds of animals, we could spot only one.
Overall, our journey was nothing but a joyful experience. We can surely say that wildlife will never cease to amaze you with its uniqueness.
