This blog is aimed at adolescents and young adults, as they need to connect with and understand the importance of our Mother Nature in this growing age of technology.
While going on a trip with our friends to Chail, we realised how we should always live in the moment and appreciate Mother Nature, who provides us with everything. During the trip, we had limited resources and no technology – surprisingly, even without these things, we had a lot of fun.
Most importantly, we learnt how to adapt to sudden changes, as in the mountains, the weather can change within minutes. In the morning, it would be raining, and by afternoon, the sun would shine bright. In the forest wilderness, we learnt a lot of skills such as cutting wood, making tents, first aid, and many others. We also did adventurous activities such as zip-lining, valley crossing, and a variety of other challenges. We believe everyone should have these experiences.
We would like to conclude our blog with some meaningful takeaway points. Physical health is very important. Learning how to survive in the wild, working with limited resources, appreciating the beauty of nature, building teamwork, adapting to change, and living in the moment – all of these reminded us that there is so much more to life than just technology.
